Following a trip to the United States, he adopted the technology of producing moulding cups for bras and quickly became a leader in the underwear business.

In fact, on 12 April 2019 in Florence, the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum inaugurated a true narrative journey on the pioneering intuitions of its Founder, in the research of natural, recycled and innovative materials, as well as on the most recent experiments in the green field. Sustainable Thinking is a narrative that aims to trigger food for thought on the increasingly urgent and topical issue linked to greater attention to the environment as a whole.
